Your holiday at Spitzingsee
Active holiday in Bavaria
The Spitzingsee is about five kilometres south of the Schliersee at an altitude of about 1,084 m in the Schliersee mountains of the Bavarian Alps. With a surface area of 28.3 hectares, it is one of the largest mountain lakes in Bavaria. The lake is around 17 metres deep and is surrounded by the Brecherspitz (1,683 m), the Jägerkamp (1,746 m), the Rotwand – the highest mountain in the region – (1,884 m) and the Rosskopf (1,580 m).
Countless kilometres of hiking trails, an array of mountain bike tours, days bathing at the lake, a family-friendly ski resort, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs, climbing routes and nature right in front of the hotel offer our guests a varied outdoor programme. We have put together some tips for the most beautiful tours around the Spitzingsee so you can do exactly what you love during your holiday.
